Suluada Full-Day Boat Tour: What Ten Hours On the Water Really Looks Like

A full day means a full day. From the Side region the Suluada tour runs about ten hours door to door; from Antalya, closer to twelve. That is the honest headline, and it is the first thing to decide about before anything else.

The shape is simple. Hotel pickup, the road to Adrasan, an optional breakfast stop, then the boat leaves the harbour at 09:40 and docks back at 16:00. Between those two times the day is swimming stops, the island, lunch cooked on board, and the coast going past.

The price does not change with the length of your road leg: €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants 0–3 free, flat from every pickup point. Reserve free online, pay on the tour day, cancel free up to 24 hours before departure.

Ten Hours from Side, Every Day of the Week

The departure from Side sails every day. Hotel pickup falls in the 05:30–06:00 window across the Side region, in air-conditioned vehicles, and the exact time is confirmed to you individually rather than printed against a hotel name. On the way there is an optional breakfast stop at Adrasan, payable at the local restaurant — plenty of guests skip it and sleep instead.

The boat sails at 09:40, docks back at 16:00, and the hotel return follows. Call it ten hours from your door to your door. The minimum age on this departure is 6. Our day itinerary walks through each stop in order, and the departure-days page confirms which boat sails when.

Twelve Hours from Antalya, on Set Days

The departure from Antalya is the longer version of the same day — around twelve hours, with pickup between 08:30 and 09:00 from central Antalya, Kemer and Beldibi. It does not sail every day. The real schedule is Tuesday and Thursday all year, plus Saturday from April to October, so check the weekday before you build a holiday around it.

The extra hours are road, not water: the time at the island is the same on both boats. This departure also includes snorkelling masks and pool floats, along with marine insurance and harbour fees. If you are weighing the two starting points against each other, Side vs Antalya lays out both without a favourite.

What Happens Between 09:40 and 16:00

The day is built around swimming stops rather than a sightseeing checklist. The boat anchors near the island and, where conditions allow, tender boats shuttle guests across to the bay. There is no shop on Suluada — no kiosk, no beach bar — so sunscreen, water and anything a child might want travels with you from the hotel.

Lunch is cooked and served on board between stops: grilled fish or chicken with pasta or rice, the day's Turkish mezes, a seasonal salad, then seasonal fruit and Turkish tea. Drinks at the bar are not included and are settled separately on board. The whole meal is set out on our lunch page, and the transfer side of the day on the hotel transfer page.

Is a Full Day Right for You?

Two honest caveats first. The 05:30 start is genuinely early — if your group does not do early mornings, the Antalya days begin three hours later. And ten hours of sun, salt and sea leaves most people tired by evening, so plan a slow dinner rather than a second excursion. The minimum age is 6 on the Side departure; families with younger children are usually better served by the Antalya days.

Everything else points the right way. Non-swimmers are welcome and life jackets are available on request, so the day works even if only half your group intends to get in the water. The fare stays flat wherever we collect you: €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants 0–3 free, booked free online and paid on the tour day. See the prices page for the breakdown, or read morning versus full-day trips if you are still deciding how much of the day to give it.

FAQ

How long is the Suluada full-day tour?+

About ten hours door to door from the Side region and around twelve hours from Antalya. The boat itself sails from Adrasan harbour at 09:40 and docks back at 16:00 — the difference between the two is road time, not time at the island.

What time does the day start?+

Hotel pickup falls between 05:30 and 06:00 in the Side region and between 08:30 and 09:00 from central Antalya, Kemer and Beldibi. We confirm your exact time individually instead of publishing a time against each hotel, because the route order changes each morning.

Does the full-day tour run every day?+

The Side departure sails every day of the week. The Antalya departure runs on Tuesday and Thursday all year, with Saturday added from April to October, so check the weekday before you plan around it.

Is a ten-hour day too long for children?+

It depends on the child, and we would rather you decide with the real numbers. The minimum age on the Side departure is 6 and pickup is between 05:30 and 06:00, so families with younger children usually take the Antalya days instead. Children aged 4–10 pay €30 and infants 0–3 travel free.
