Questions & Answers

Suluada FAQ

The questions every guest asks before booking the island day — answered honestly by the people who sail it.

€40 flat — every pickup point Book free, pay on the day
How long is the Suluada boat tour?+

It's a full day. From the Side coast the door-to-door day is around 10 hours: hotel pickup between 05:30 and 06:00, the boat sails at 09:40 from Adrasan and docks back at 16:00. The Antalya departure is around 12 hours door to door, with pickup between 08:30 and 09:00.

Which days do the boats run?+

The Side departure runs every day. The Antalya departure runs on selected days — Tuesday and Thursday all year, plus Saturday from April to October.

What's for lunch on the boat?+

Lunch is cooked on board: your choice of grilled fish or chicken with pasta or rice, daily Turkish mezes such as stuffed vine leaves and lentil patties, and seasonal salad — followed by seasonal fruit and Turkish tea. Drinks at the bar are extra.

Can children join the tour?+

Yes — Suluada is a family day. Children aged 4–10 pay €30 and infants 0–3 sail free. The daily Side departure lists a minimum age of 6 — younger children sail free but must stay under your close supervision on deck. Each tour page lists its own minimum age.

Do you pick up from my hotel, and does the price change?+

The price never changes — €40 per adult from every pickup point. Hotels along the Side–Manavgat coast, central Antalya, Lara, Kemer and Beldibi have round-trip transfer; for some other areas we confirm your pickup individually. West-coast guests meet the boat at Adrasan harbour.

How do I pay?+

You reserve online for free and pay on the day of the tour — no prepayment. You'll receive a confirmation e-mail with a printable ticket.

What should I bring to the island?+

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses — and anything else you'll want for the day, because there is no shop on Suluada. Personal beach gear isn't provided, and drinks at the boat's bar are paid separately.

Can we swim and snorkel at Suluada?+

Yes — the day is built around swimming breaks at Suluada and the surrounding bays. The boat anchors near the island and, where conditions allow, tender boats shuttle you to the white sandy bay between the twin beaches.

What happens if the weather is bad?+

In rough sea conditions the harbour authority can cancel departures. If that happens, your sailing is rebooked or refunded — and in any case you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure.

Where does the boat actually leave from?+

Every Suluada cruise sails from Adrasan harbour — your pickup point only changes the road leg. The Side departure sails at 09:40; west-coast guests without a transfer product meet the boat at the harbour by their own arrangement.
