Booking Suluada for a Group: The Mechanics

2026-07-26 · 4 min read

Book it exactly as you would for one person. There is no group form, no minimum party size and no separate process: one traveller can reserve every place, or everybody can book their own, and the total lands in the same spot either way. Nothing is charged before the day.

This page is the mechanics. What a group day actually feels like — mixed ages, mixed swimming confidence, what to agree in advance — is in Suluada for large groups. Prices, pickups and the full policy for parties sit on group bookings.

One Reservation or Several

Both work, and the total is identical.

One reservation is simpler for us and usually simpler for you: one name, one phone number, one confirmation, one list of hotels. It is the right choice when the party is settled and somebody is willing to be the contact.

Separate reservations suit groups still making up their minds, or arriving on different dates. Nobody is tied to anyone else's plans, and each traveller gets their own confirmation and printable ticket.

If you split it, tell us the party is travelling together. Send one message with the names and we will keep everyone on the same departure. That is the single most useful thing you can do and it takes one sentence. The step-by-step of the reservation itself is on how to book.

What to Send Us

Four things, and a group is confirmed quickly:

One rule catches groups out: the minimum age on the Side departure is 6. Check it against the youngest traveller before the day is built around them.

Confirmations and Tickets

You book free online. Nothing is charged in advance — the model is pay on the tour day, which matters more to a group than to a couple, because no one person fronts the money while the last two people work out their share.

Each reservation produces its own confirmation e-mail and its own printable ticket. Book as one party and that is a single ticket covering everybody; book separately and each traveller carries their own. Either is fine on the day. If you did split it, one person should keep the list, because separate confirmations are not linked to each other unless you tell us they belong together.

Changing the Numbers Afterwards

Groups shrink and grow. That is normal, not a problem.

Changes are handled by message: tell us what has changed and we adjust the booking. Adding people is subject to the same availability as any new reservation, so earlier is better. Removing people is straightforward, and since nothing has been charged, nobody is chasing a refund.

Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, for one traveller or for all of you. If rough sea stops sailings, the harbour authority makes that call and you are rebooked or refunded. The detail is in changing or cancelling your booking and what happens if weather cancels.

Whole-Boat Requests

Taking the boat for your party alone is possible on request only. There is no published charter price here, no capacity quoted and no schedule promised in advance — enquire with your dates and numbers and we will tell you what is workable. Anything else would be invention, and we do not invent.

The same applies past a certain size of ordinary booking: at some point a group stops being a reservation and becomes a plan. We do not publish a threshold, because the honest answer depends on the date. Ask us with the numbers and you will get a straight reply rather than a template. Both departures take group reservations the same way — the Suluada boat tour from Side and the Suluada boat tour from Antalya.

Frequently Asked

Should a group book as one reservation or separately?+

Either works and the total is identical. One reservation is simpler to manage; separate bookings suit people arriving on different dates or still deciding. If you book separately, send us one message with the names so we keep the whole party on the same departure — separate confirmations are not linked unless you tell us.

What do you need from us to confirm a group booking?+

Four things: the headcount split into adults, children aged 4–10 and infants 0–3; every hotel name in the party rather than just the lead booker's; your date and which departure it belongs to; and anything we should plan around, such as dietary requirements, mobility or non-swimmers.

Does everybody in the group get their own ticket?+

It depends how you booked. One reservation produces one confirmation e-mail and one printable ticket covering the whole party; separate reservations give each traveller their own. Both are fine on the day — if you split the booking, it helps if one person keeps the list.

Can we change the numbers after booking?+

Yes, by message. Adding people is subject to the same availability as any new reservation, so ask early; removing people is straightforward, and since nothing is charged in advance nobody has to chase a refund. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, for one traveller or for all of you.
