The Best Suluada Boat Tour for Families

Families rarely need the best boat. They need the right wake-up time, an honest answer about ages, and a price that does not move. We run two Suluada cruises: the departure from Side, which sails every day, and the departure from Antalya, which runs on selected days. Both leave Adrasan harbour for the same island.

Age decides it. The Side departure carries a minimum age of 6. If your youngest is under that, look at the Antalya boat instead: pickup falls between 08:30 and 09:00, and snorkel masks and pool floats come with the ticket. Our family tour page sets out the day step by step.

Money is the one thing you can stop thinking about. €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants 0–3 free — the same rate from every pickup point on the coast, booked free online and paid on the tour day, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. The full figures sit on the price guide and the family price page; for what a child actually does on board, read the best Suluada tour for kids.

Our Top Picks

#1

Antalya: Suluada Island Boat Tour

The kinder start, and the only choice if a child under 6 is travelling with you. Pickup is 08:30–09:00 from central Antalya, Kemer and Beldibi, and the day runs about twelve hours. It sails Tuesday and Thursday all year, plus Saturday from April to October, so the date comes first and the boat second. Snorkel masks and pool floats are included, which matters at every swimming stop.

#2

Side to Suluada Boat Tour: Turkish Maldives and Adrasan Bay Excursion

The everyday option, and the right one once your children are 6 or older. Pickup is 05:30–06:00 across the Side region, the boat leaves Adrasan at 09:40 and docks again at 16:00 — about ten hours door to door, with lunch cooked on board. Say the wake-up time out loud before you book: it is early, and teenagers forgive it faster than toddlers.

FAQ

Which Suluada boat tour is best for families?+

For a family with a child under 6, the Antalya departure — the minimum age of 6 applies to our Side boat, and the Antalya day starts later, with pickup between 08:30 and 09:00. Once every child is 6 or older, both work, and the Side departure wins on availability because it sails every day.

Is there a minimum age on the Suluada boat tour?+

Yes, on one of the two departures: the Side boat lists a minimum age of 6, and the Antalya boat does not. Infants aged 0–3 travel free, and children aged 4–10 pay €30 — but on the Side departure the minimum age of 6 still applies, so a family with an under-6 takes the Antalya boat. Tell us the ages when you book. Life jackets are available on request.

What does a family of four pay?+

€140 — two adults at €40 and two children aged 4–10 at €30, from any pickup point on the coast. If one child is under 4 the total is €110, because infants 0–3 are free — on the Antalya departure, where there is no minimum age. You book free online and pay on the tour day, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure.

Is the day too long for young children?+

It is a long day, and we would rather say so plainly. The Side departure takes about ten hours door to door from a pickup between 05:30 and 06:00; the Antalya departure runs about twelve hours from a pickup between 08:30 and 09:00. Work backwards from your children's bedtime before you fix the date, and keep the evening after it free. If a nap happens at a fixed hour in your house, plan for it to happen in the vehicle or on deck.
