Short verdict: from the Alanya band, Suluada is a very long day — and one where we confirm your pickup individually rather than promise a blanket transfer. An Alanya harbour cruise is the easy option on your doorstep. Both are good days out; they are not the same purchase.
This page is mostly about distance, because that is what actually decides it from this end of the coast. Every Suluada boat sails from Adrasan harbour, far to the west, out to a small rocky island with a white sandy bay that people call the Turkish Maldives. From Okurcalar or Gazipaşa, that is a serious road leg before you board.
The price does not move for it: our Suluada boat tour is a flat €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants free, booked free online and paid on the tour day. What we will not do is pretend the day is shorter than it is.
Start With the Pickup, Not the Price
The price is identical wherever you stand on this coast — €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants free. What changes along the Alanya band is not the money. It is how far you travel before the day even begins.
Here, we confirm your pickup individually. From Okurcalar through Avsallar, İncekum, Türkler, Konaklı, Alanya, Oba, Mahmutlar, Kestel and Kargıcak down to Gazipaşa, we make no blanket free-transfer promise, because the road leg from that side of the coast is long. Send us your hotel name before you book and we will tell you exactly how your morning would work — Suluada from Alanya has the detail, or message us directly.
That is not a hedge, it is the difference between a company that promises every hotel a minibus and one that checks first. The Alanya price breakdown shows what does and does not change.
From Alanya, This Is a Very Long Day
Every boat sails from Adrasan harbour, far west along the coast, so from the Alanya band you cross most of the Antalya coastline before you board. The boat itself leaves at 09:40 and docks back at 16:00. From the Side region the whole thing runs about ten hours door to door; from the Alanya side it is longer, and we confirm your timings with you individually rather than print a number we cannot stand behind.
Be honest with yourself about that. An Alanya cruise need not cost you the whole day. Suluada costs the whole of one, with an early start at the front of it. If a pre-dawn alarm would sour the holiday, book the local cruise and enjoy it with a clear conscience — we would rather you had a good day than gave us a booking.
What you get for the distance. A small rocky island with a white sandy bay, pine-clad cliffs and water bright enough that the Maldives nickname stuck. The boat anchors near the island and, where conditions allow, tender boats shuttle guests into the bay. Life jackets are available on request and non-swimmers are welcome. Lunch is cooked on board — grilled fish or chicken with pasta or rice, Turkish mezes, seasonal salad, then fruit and tea — and drinks at the bar are not included. There is no shop on the island, so bring what you need. Minimum age 6 on the Side departure; everything itemised on the price page.
What an Alanya Harbour Cruise Gives You Instead
Boat trips from Alanya harbour are part of the town's character. You walk down to the marina, board, and run along the peninsula beneath the castle walls, with music on deck and swim stops along the way. Some boats are relaxed, some are party boats. Their length varies — ask the boat directly.
We will not publish another operator's prices, timings or route promises here. Those are theirs to state, not ours to guess. Ask the boat you are considering what is genuinely included, and compare that before you compare the numbers.
Convenience is the real product. The harbour sits in the middle of the resort and you are back for dinner without having built your day around a schedule. If you have part of a day rather than all of it, if you are travelling with children under 6, or if someone in the group dislikes long transfers, that is the right answer and there is no shame in booking it.
One thing worth knowing before you walk down to the marina: day cruises on this coast are run by our own boat-trip brand, so you can book an Alanya boat trip there and still have someone to call if your plans change.
Doing both? Straightforward. Put the local cruise on a day you are not giving to Suluada, and give Suluada a clear day of its own. The Antalya departure sails Tuesday and Thursday all year, plus Saturday from April to October, and carries snorkel masks and pool floats.
