How to Get to Suluada: Every Route, Honestly Explained

You get to Suluada by boat from Adrasan harbour. There is no other way in — no bridge, no ferry terminal, no road. Every cruise to the island, ours included, leaves from that one harbour on the western Antalya coast.

So the real question is not how to reach Suluada. It is how to reach Adrasan. And the answer depends on which part of the coast you are staying on.

The Only Way In Is a Boat From Adrasan

Adrasan harbour sits at roughly 36.308° N, 30.477° E, in the Kumluca district west of Antalya. The island lies offshore at about 36.371° N, 30.446° E. Between the two there is only water.

Once you are on board, the day is the same for everyone. Boats anchor off the island rather than tying up at a pier; where conditions allow, tender boats shuttle guests into the bay. There is no shop on the island, so anything you want for the day travels with you from the hotel. That single-harbour fact has a practical consequence: the sailing time is fixed, so the entire day is built backwards from it. Every pickup window on this page exists for one reason — to put you at the harbour before the boat leaves. It is also why the windows differ so much between the eastern and the western resorts.

From Side and the Manavgat Coast — Every Day

This is the simplest route, and the busiest. The Suluada boat tour from Side runs daily, with free hotel pickup across the Side–Manavgat band: Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Manavgat, Kızılağaç and Kızılot.

Pickup falls in the 05:30–06:00 window. We publish the window and confirm your exact time individually — we never print fixed per-hotel times, because they genuinely differ from one address to the next. Transport is air-conditioned, there is an optional breakfast stop at Adrasan around 08:30 paid at the local restaurant, and the boat sails at 09:40. It docks back at 16:00 and the return drive follows. Door to door: about 10 hours. Minimum age on this departure is 6.

Guests often ask whether they can be collected later. On this departure, no — the window is set by the 09:40 sailing from Adrasan. If a later start is essential, the Antalya departure is the alternative, on the days it runs.

From Antalya, Kemer and Beldibi — Selected Days

The Suluada boat tour from Antalya includes round-trip transfer from central Antalya, Kemer and Beldibi, with a pickup window of 08:30–09:00 — a far kinder alarm, because these resorts sit closer to Adrasan.

The trade-off is the calendar. This departure is not daily: it sails Tuesday and Thursday all year, plus Saturday from April to October. Total day length is around 12 hours. Snorkelling masks and pool floats are included, along with marine insurance and harbour fees. If your dates do not line up with those days, the daily Side departure is always an option — the boat and the island are the same.

Belek, Alanya and the West Coast: the Honest Version

Not every address on this coastline gets a blanket transfer promise, and we would rather say so than surprise you.

• Belek, Boğazkent, Kadriye; the Alanya band from Okurcalar to Gazipaşa; Kundu, Konyaaltı, Göynük, Kiriş, Çamyuva and Tekirova — we confirm pickup for these individually. Message us with your hotel and date before you plan the day around it. The price does not change; only the logistics need checking.
• The west coast — Adrasan, Olympos, Çıralı, Finike, Demre and Kaş — has no transfer product at all. Guests staying there make their own way to Adrasan harbour and meet the boat. If that is you, get in touch and we will help you work out the timing against the 09:40 sailing.

The rule behind all of this is simple: the boat leaves from Adrasan at a fixed time, so any route that gets you to the harbour before it works. What we will not do is promise a pickup we cannot guarantee.

Booking, Price and the Day Itself

The price is the same from every pickup point on the coast: €40 per adult, €30 per child aged 4–10, infants 0–3 free. Side or Kemer, Manavgat or Antalya — one flat price, no regional surcharge. You book free online and pay on the tour day, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. If the harbour authority stops sailings in rough sea, you are rebooked or refunded.

Lunch on board is included: grilled fish or chicken with pasta or rice, the day's Turkish mezes, seasonal salad, then fruit and Turkish tea. Drinks from the bar are paid separately, as is the optional breakfast at Adrasan.

On the Side departure the tour languages are English, German, Russian and Turkish, so guidance during the day works for most guests without arranging anything in advance.
